Does WORX TriVac Really Work?

This three-in-one gardening tool, they say, is compact and light at just 8.3 pounds.  And yet, it is a blower, mulcher and a powerful yard vac.  They claim to be the only blower/vac that can be operated with just one hand.  As a blower, the WORX TriVac has an airspeed of 210 mph, making it tough enough for even wet leaves and debris.  It’s wraparound soft grip handle allows blowing leaves off the driveway, or vacuuming leaves on the patio effortlessly.  With just the flip of a switch, they say, this product transforms from a blower to a vacuum, and with its unique angled tube leaves are easily vacuumed from under decks or play equipment.  The WORX TriVac claims to be quieter than most blower/vacs at less than 70 decibels and the WG500 shaver is more quiet than an electric shaver.

love my TriVac! This is my 4th summer and works as well as when I got it. I’m a woman in my mid 50s and love gardening. I live in a wooded area with lots of leaves and have double rolling compost bins to turn those leaves into “black gold”. My bag finally gave out and I just ordered the unit that will attach to a trash can. The bag had a small separation from the zipper at the end and just today the zipper blew completely. Blade is still good showing some wear and bag attachment was beginning to lose its defined grooves. This is heavily used so I’d have to say I’m impressed with how long it held out. Would love to replace the impeller with the new double metal one as I collect, dump and collect it again to get a finer shred for my composters. Can I get a replacement metal blade for my blower? Would make my life that much better :).

Yes - Works much more than I expected

I bought the Trivac 500 in garage sale. Box and all attachments. I came home and looked up all the bad reviews. I couldn’t believe it, but oh well it only cost me five bucks. A couple days went by my curiosity got to me so I raked up my ruff front yard it works much more than I expected. I wonder if the metal fan blade can be bought for that model? Mine is plastic but it works.

Yes - Worx Works Great!

I just recieved the Trivac for Christmas. Since it was a nice day today( temp in the 40s qnd no snow on the ground) I decided to tackle all of the wet leaves that the lawn service left behind a few months ago. It picks up wer oak leaves and if you are careful it will leave bedding mulch and stones behind. From now on I’ll tell the lawn service to forget the leaves since they tend to blow a lot of mulch and bark from the planting beds out into the lawn. The Trivac will take care of my leaves from now on!

No - Cheap Plastic

This unit will NOT pick up large leaves. It constantly gets clogged and you have to use your hand to fix it. After using it for 4 hours to get up leaves & pine straw the impeller was broken. I called Worx and was told if I did not like the product to return it to the store. I did & will never buy anything from Worx again!

No - Vacuum too sensitive

Awkward balance on this blower, especially with the bag. Vacuum will burn out motor when one little twig gets caught in the impeller.

I have had my worxtrivac for one day used it on friday the plastic pieces inside are all ready burned up. Every disappointed in the cheap parts that were used to put the product together. I spent 89.00 dollars a product that does a half ass job. Good product hell no. A rake, shovel, trash bags and trash can does a better job. Product has two year warranty what joke the product sucks. No other way to put it.

Yes - Plastic Impeller? Who cares?

[….] I love this tool. It does exactly what it claims it will do. The plastic impeller IS NOT an issue, if used correctly. You’re not suppose to vacuum up pebbles and small rocks. After trimming many different shrubs around the yard, it makes short work on the clean-up. No more bending over or down on your hands and knees. However, the bag does get heavy and needs to be emptied often. I need to get the attachment for a garbage can to alleviate this problem. All-in-all, this Worx TriVac is GREAT!

I am so happy with the product. I was skeptical about an electric, but this works great! I could care less about a plastic impeller, as I blow and vacuum and not concerned about mulch. This thing helps me get what I have to do done, quick and easy! […] Great product!
