Does Wandarama Really Work?
The Wandarama is a gravity defying interactive toy that enables children to manipulate the movement of tinsel toys without touching them with the Wanderama. By the flick of a switch, the Wanderama makes the tinsel toys bounce, swirl, twirl, float and fly, they say. If two children have Wanderamas they can toss the tinsel toy from side to side. The secret, they say, to the Wanderama is “weird science” that is similar to the charge you feel when your hair stands on end. Using similar energy, the Wanderama is able to manipulate the direction of the tinsel toys without touching them. A Wanderama kit includes two Wanderamas, 24 tinsel toys, two sticker sheets and an instruction guide, they say. The Wanderama is not just interactive but physically demanding and permits a child to imagine the game or story that he is enacting with the use of his or her Wanderama. It is healthy, stimulates the mind, and is interactive too, they claim.

Wandarama Reviews

ok it works by giving itself an electrike charge, the shape of the tinsel toys allow them to hover and float because they ratio of positive charge (+) to negative charge (-) is almost ballenced, so they are both being pulled towards and pushed away from the wandarama at the same time so they hover. and its not a magnet because then it couldnt bend the water coming out of a spout, it can do that because the water coming out of the spout is negativly charged and the wandarama is partially positivly charged so it pulls the water towards it. you can do this with a ballon that is staticly charged too.
oh and Erica, the wandarama is NOT supposed to give anything but the tinsel toys and it’s self a charge so the wandarama’s that you have are deffective, and the tingling thumbs is probably the result of a short

Large tinsel rips right out of the box. Most of the shapes were so tiny, it was not interesting to float them.
Both of my kids complained on “funny” tingling in thumbs that hold buttons. I checked and it is true, the buttons zap with static.
Every few minutes of play kids also get zapped from touching things around. They chase those shapes around then touch a doorknob and -zap! They touch me and zap!
We are disappointed.
It doesn’t say on the box if Wandarama was safety tested, because it isn’t safe.

Each tinsel piece I tried to carefully peel off the paper tore instead. If you’re lucky to get one off without tearing it, the second you get it going on the wand, it’s blowing off and ripping anyway. Not ordering more since they’re so expensive. What a joke. Should have known better than to buy one of those TV products.

My two sons (5 and 7) absolutely love the product. I tested it out for them and it did exactly what the commercial showed. Unlike most toys which they play with only once, this is their favorite. Highly recommend.
