Does Turbo Snake Really Work?
This is one snake you won’t mind keeping in your bathroom-the Turbo Snake. That’s because the Turbo Snake claims it can instantly clear slow moving or clogged drains that have been disturbed by the accumulation of loose hairs and the like. This Turbo Snake takes away the need for chemical drainers and is flexible, so there is no longer any need to remove a drain stopper. It works on bathroom sinks, showers, and tubs. The set includes two sink snakes, two shower and tub snakes, and two peel and stick storage hooks. With the Turbo Snake you simply need to insert it in the drain, twist it, and remove the accumulated material that caused your sink or tub to clog. With the two peel and stick hooks you can easily store your Turbo Snake right where you want it—in your bathroom.

Turbo Snake Reviews

This is a nickel’s worth of plastic coated wire with a piece of velcro attached at the end. When I attempted to use it, the velcro came loose in the drain causing a far worse problem. When I attempted to pull the remaining plastic coated wire from the drain, the plastic stripped from the wire. I had to dis-assemble the entire drain to remove the debris left from this attempt to quickly “clean” my drain. Not only worthless, but will cause more problems than it solves.

It’s a piece of velcro on the end of a plastic coated wire. If you have one single completely straight pipe, I’m sure it’d do a fine job. But the wire doesn’t have enough bend to go around the sharp bends in most plumbing (like the S bend under the sink), so it just stops at the first bend and then gets more and more bent – in the part you don’t want to have bending. Do NOT waste your hard earned money on this, it’s useless unless the clog is so close you could dig it out with a fork!

This product does work. Takes a bit of manuevering to get the wire to get down where it needs to, but it does get a lot of gunk out of the drain!

I had a sink clog problem that I figured was in the trap. I bought this piece of junk at Walmart. Not only does it not clear a clog, it folds up like an accordian after the first few tries into a useless piece of wire. Save your money. Even a coat hanger would work better.
