I also liked turbo jam and bought turbo fire – I agree, don’t do it if you have a bad back, but it’s a great workout otherwise. There is a lot of jumping and high intensity exercise in shorter bursts – even the 15 min dvd is a decent quick workout. I don’t buy into the claims that you lose weight as quickly as they say, but it’s a workout, and you’ll lose weight by continuing on a good pattern of diet and exercise with this one.

No - Not for a bad back!

I love Chalene’s workouts (Turbo Jam whole series!) but this one is too much for someone with a bad lower back. There’s no way to modify all the workouts in turbo fire and I ended up straining my back and out of commission for a couple weeks…. not her fault, just don’t try if you have back problems… turbo jam, on the other hand, is fantastic!
