Does Space Bag Really Work?
The Space Bag is a large vacuum-seal bag that can provide you with three times more storage space for clothes, towels and bed sheets and covers. This bag features a sure-zip slider closure system that allows you to remove air inside the bag using a vacuum cleaner. As a result all the contents of the Space Bag will be safe and protected from outdoor elements like dust, dirt and germs. This bag also has a patented one-way valve that will fit a regular vacuum cleaner hose creating a watertight and airtight container for your belongings. It is made of several layers of nylon and polyethylene offering a see-through visibility so you can find what you need easily. The Space Bag is reusable and measures 35 by 48 inches.

Space Bag Reviews

I have seen an advert for Space Bag. I have bought some a year or so back. Those Space Bags are perfect for college students like myself. They are also perfect for moving from one house to another as well as for vacations.

We were on vacation and had overbought souvenirs. We stopped at a “seen on TV” store and got the space bags. We used them to put our clothes and bedding in, freeing up the suitcases for other purchases. The bags didn’t last forever, but we were able to get everything to fit in the trunk!

I was moving and thought they would be great for bedding, clothes, pillows etc.
I ordered a slew of them in all sizes and NOT EVEN ONE held the vacuum more than 2 days.

After a few day the ones I purchased had leaked. Will not buy again. Waste of money.

I love these bags BUT you have to be so very careful or else they will become useless. I’ve had to throw almost all of mine away over time because I was unable to find the leak. I also used to pack the bags into a plastic bin, which works well because even if there’s a leak, it cant expand beyond the bin and you can fit quite a bit of stuff in one. I dont recommend if you have a cat :)

These bags were a total waste of money and time. I followed the directions, and they appeared to be doing their job. However, every one of the bags leaked therefore rendering them useless.

We have a home with minimal storage, so the Space Bag seemed like a perfect solution. They do what they say–compress things to unbelievably small dimensions–who knew there was so much air involved in our clothing and bedding? However, once compressed, the bags are quite delicate, and with a vacuum seal, obviously the smallest puncture makes them useless. We continue to use Space Bags by buying the smaller sizes and storing the compressed patties of clothing, etc, in plastic bins with lids. We still derive the benefits of the compression, but they have to be stored carefully.
