Does Snore Break Really Work?

Heavily advertised on radio, Snore Break is a patented pillow liner that is supposed to prevent snoring through its unique blend of natural essential oils. The Snore Break pillow liner is placed on the pillow, underneath the pillow case. (The manufacturer warns to avoid direct contact between the skin and the liner.) The essential oils will open up the nasal passages of the sleeper. This is supposed to make breathing easier and result in decreased snoring. According to the marketing claims, the these oils emit and pleasant and soothing smell. Some of the ingredients used to make the blend of essential oils include eucalyptus, lavender, and geranium. A user is advised to change the disposable liner once the aroma dissipates. A single Snore Break pillow liner will remain effective for approximately three nights. Snore Break is not a solution for sleep apnea and should not be used by pregnant women.
