I have used slim fast on numerous occasions especially after a hard work out. Nothing is going to stop making you eat unhealthy foods. You have to do that for yourself. But if you have a good workout plan and occasionally use it to replace a meal, I promise it will work.

I have used Slim Fast several times. It is expensive. It is basically a very thick shake that isn't very good. It did not curb my hunger. I ate the same amounts at lunchtime as I did prior to using the drink. I felt that I would need about 3 of these to actually make me feel full, in order to be able to skip a meal. Save your money and use Psyllium capsules with water to make you feel full. Lots cheaper.

By now, you've either heard of Slim Fast, tried it yourself, or know someone, somewhere, who has tried it. Like Atkins, some swear by these canned "shakes", while others find them a scam. I've used Slim Fast twice in my life and that was close to 20 years ago. Were they tasty? Some flavors more than others, yes, but even the tastier flavors still had a slightly unpleasant mouth-feel, thanks to an alternately sludgy and chalky consistency. But did they fill me up so as to make me not hungry? Um, NO. Not even close. The "trick" - unspoken, but always there, like the 'g' in 'sign' - is BELIEVING it will fill you up. That, in a nutshell, folks, is the 'secret ingredient' in Slim Fast: your MIND. If you REALLY and TRULY BELIEVE that a 10-ounce shake will calm any and all food cravings, well...PT Barnum was right about a sucker being born every minute. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on these shakes (and let's face it, despite the warnings that you shouldn't consume these for more than a week at most, I've yet to find ANYONE who loves them who doesn't make them a regular part of their diet for months on end) so you can believe they'll help you lose weight, why not save yourself a few dollars and believe, say, YOU can help you lose weight? What a revolutionary diet plan, no?
