If you have a patient pet and have exactly the right angle and the stars are perfectly aligned, this item works wonderfully. Unfortunately, this is very rarely the case. It is awkward to hold, and only works one direction. It gets some hair, sure, but not enough results to really deliver on its promise. Don't waste your money on this one - check out FURminator instead.

I have large and small breed dogs and it is to hard to use and takes forever. If you have a toy breed dog and have every day to use it then it is ok.

Luckily, I received this product for free with my purchase of Pedi-Paws (which works great). It has been sitting on my shelves for almost 2 yrs. Totally useless. A fine-tooth comb works better.
