It is supposed to work well with carpets, rugs, and hardwood floors. Furthermore, it claims to have very strong suction power. For this reason, the Shark Navigator claims to pick up a lot more dirt and dust than competing brands. This vacuum comes with a lifetime filter and two sponge filters that merely need to be washed every three months. There are also special attachments for stairs and for picking up dog hairs off of the furniture. A long cervical tool is also handy, they say, for getting dog hairs in tight spots.
