It absolutely works, I keep it in a drawer under the counter with my cutting board, so just a few quick swipes each time before using my knives keeps them sharp and easy to use. This product works well and sharpens knives quickly. Our kitchen knives are always sharp and save to use instead of before, dull and dangerous. I also keep my jack knife good and sharp all the time.
