Does Ruggies Really Work?
Rugs and mats can be useful, as they can be placed on the doorstep as a means for people to clean the soles of their shoes before entering, and in some cases, they also serve as part of the house’s decoration, especially if the carpeting matches the interior design. The problem with rugs and mats is that they can slip or they can trip people, which can be dangerous. This is a problem that Ruggies aims to solve. Ruggies are reusable rubber grips shaped like a triangle, which are placed around the edges or corners of any rug or carpeting. The tacky grip polymer technology incorporated in the Ruggies grips then holds the rug in place, while hundreds of suction pockets underneath grip the floor. Ruggies claims to be so strong it will withstand a strong vacuum cleaner. Since it doesn’t use any glue, it will not damage the floor, and can be washed and reused.
