Although it was a slow progress, it definitely worked wonders. The doctor did tell me that my face would get worse before it got better due to the medicine 'cleaning out' my skin and ridding it of the bacteria and dirt deep down. Unfortunately Accutane can cause some unpleasant side effects so doctors are likely to give you weaker products like Retin A first. Be patient and if it doesn't work, ask about Accutane.
