Does Retin A Really Work?
A topical ointment that contains Vitamin A, Retin A is formulated to treat acne and other similar skin conditions. It has Tretinoin which also helps to eliminate the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles, skin discoloration, resulting to a smoother skin. Retin A is available in different strength levels, it is important that you check with your doctor prior to purchasing the product to ensure that you are using the product that will work best for you. It works by enhancing the skin cell turnover, which encourages the extrusion of the substances present in the facial pore. Though individual results may vary, results are normally seen in seven weeks if the product is used properly. Treatment should be continued to achieve optimum results. Skin may peel and break out in the first couple of weeks but this will be renewed in the following weeks.
Retin A Reviews

I had horrible acne. My parents took me to the dermatologist and I was given an RX for Retin-A. Although it was a slow progress, it definitely worked wonders. The doctor did tell me that my face would get worse before it got better due to the medicine ‘cleaning out’ my skin and ridding it of the bacteria and dirt deep down. I would without a doubt recommend this product to anyone!!

Retin A was one of the first products my dermatologist gave me to treat acne when I was a teenager. I took it for several months and it really didn’t clear up my face at all. What did eventually work was a prescription drug called Accutane. Unfortunately Accutane can cause some unpleasant side effects so doctors are likely to give you weaker products like Retin A first. Be patient and if it doesn’t work, ask about Accutane.
