Does Power Pressure Cooker XL Really Work?

The Power Pressure Cooker XL is a pressure cooker that boasts of being able to prepare food 70% times faster than conventional kitchen equipment. Aside from this convenience, the Power Pressure Cooker XL also claims to come up with better tasting food due to the brand’s patented “flavor infusion technology,” which forces liquid and moisture into the food in order to lock in the flavor and nutrients that are usually lost when cooking through traditional means. The Power Pressure Cooker XL also features an intelligent control panel that provides one-touch settings for cooking a wide variety of food, including settings for meat, vegetables, fish, beans, rich, and soup. This kitchen appliance not only promises to save homeowners time, but also known for having automation options so that even people with minimal cooking ability can prepare decent delicious meals on their own.

They really need to split those questions into 2 separate questions. Does the product work? Yes. Would you recommend it? No. I am a working single mom. The kids and I all thought this product seemed like a great idea. I ordered in January and did not receive the item until mid- to late-March. As previously mentioned, they make no mention of the warmup time. So, it is not so great for anything that would take 20 minutes or less to cook on the stove. However, I do agree that, if the food you want to cook will take longer than an hour in the oven, this is the product for you. I took off one star because several things I cooked burned on the bottom [my Easter ham, penne pasta, meatballs, and chili]. If you watch the infomercial, you will notice that, when they pour out the meatballs and chicken wings, there are a few that are burned. I took off another star because the inner pot is aluminum with a Teflon coating. I didn’t know this before buying the product. I have nothing in my house that is non-stick, except my son’s excuses for not taking out the trash. I only cook on 18/10 stainless steel and cast iron. I waited a few days to use it until I could get some utensils to use with a non-stick pot. However, even after being super cautious about scraping the pot, the Teflon has chipped after only 2 months. Yup, just past the 60-day money back guarantee. I am not sure what I’ll do at this point.

Yes - Warm up time was not discussed

Up to 17 mins warm up time BEFORE the advertized “cook time”!

However, the delay timer (up to 24 hrs) and lots of buttons makes it a great pressure cooker.
Great for wings(35mins), brisket(47 mins), and long roasts(57 mins total) and maybe canning….

But 6 mins advertized for steaming veggies is actually 23… :/

They make it seem like the PPC XL is a big deal. But really its just another pressure cooker. Dont waste money on a simple pressure cooker.
