Does PetArmor Really Work?

More than anything else, pet owners put a premium on the health of their pets. But while there is no question about its importance in pet care, the fact remains that products for protecting dogs and cats from parasites can be quite expensive. As response to this concern of most pet owners, the generic medication PetArmor promises to be an affordable alternative to its more expensive counterparts. It contains fipronil, an active ingredient that is also present in other highly priced flea and tick protection products. PetArmor claims to keep pets free from flea and ticks effectively for a full month. This product is available in separate variants for cats and dogs. It can be used for puppies and kittens at least 8 weeks old.

I have two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. I use this on them and they are flea free.[…] I bathed the dogs, let them dry completely, put on PetArmor, vacuumed extremely well and instead of monthly intervals, we reapply every 3 weeks. Dogs are now flea free. I would much rather use this than the more expensive brands! I treat a total of 4 dogs a month and I am very thankful this works AND is cost efficient!

I put it on two weeks ago and again just the other day. Unfortunately I’m going to have to go out an buy the expensive stuff on top of the money I have already spent.
