These promise a lot but did not work for us. Maybe if we had dogs the size of rats they would have enough power. We got rid of ours.

The Pedipaws Sacred my Dog away and if i do get her to try it, it does not have any effect on her nails. She has very strong un-even nails and it doesnt do anything at all. My cat won't let me near him if i have it, he is afraid of the noise. This is a horrible product.

It barely cuts my dogs nails at all. He's a bigger dog so tough nails might be the cause, but it doesn't even work on my cat soooooooo.......

I used them after I clip the nails with a regular clipper to remove the sharp & rough edges. Works great for that. Takes a long time if you let the nails go several weeks without a trim.

This product does not work very well. For large dogs you might as well forget it unless you have an hour or more. and don't forget to have a good supply of batteries. I went and got a dremil at the petsmart and works fantastic and very quick. Save your money on this product.

This product freaks the dogs out and is not powerful enough to be able to trim their nails, plus gets hot. Not a good investment.

Motor had no power at all. Even slight pressure against dog's nails would cause motor to slow dramatically. Waste of money. Using old-fashioned clippers again.

I was able to acclimate my dog to this after some modest effort. Despite my best efforts to be calm, authoritative, but patient with clipping, she was just afraid for her life!

So the PediPaw works, but it's pretty mediocre result anyway! The guide only allows you to use a narrow band of the sanding head, so it wears out FAR too quickly, but much worse, it's just powered by 2x C cell batteries. People keep saying the batteries wear out too quickly, but that's not true, the batteries probably still have 80% of their capacity left when they become useless, but the voltage and amps required to spin the motor adequately, can't be supplied by anything but brand new C batteries!

This exact same product would be very useful with a rechargeable 3.7v Li-ion battery battery pack inside as it would adequately supply the motor until capacity reaches 15%, then could simply be recharged!

Tried it on both of my dogs. My one dog totally freaked out and did not like the sound or sensation of it. The other dog tolerated it but it took me 15 min before I even noticed a difference. And replacement heads wear out very very quickly.
