Got these knives through a Today show steels and deals before Xmas. The knives do not include the best knife of all---a chef knife. The long "carving knives" are too bendy and why would anyone need 2? And, with those wicked looking pointy prongs?

[..] As for the performance, I am not that impressed. Serrated knives have been around for a long time which is why they never get dull. They do not cut, they saw. I could have gone to Walmart and bought a complete set of serrated knives for $20.

My college age daughter bought a set of these for her "hope chest", and let me use them while she still lived at home.

When she got married and moved out, I SURE MISSED THOSE KNIVES!

They really do perform "as shown on TV".

The only down side is that the little brand logo stickers fall off after a few trips through the dishwasher. But if you aren't concerned about looks, no problem!

These knives employ the amazing technology to keep themselves sharp called SERRATION. This makes these crap knives cut even when not sharp, but any 2 dollar serrated knife from WalMart will do the same. Get a real knife instead of these toy knives.

The Knives are sharp and stay sharp. These knives are better than the most expensive knives. One little downside - do not put in dishwasher as sme of the blades tend to get rust spots
