Does Kombucha Really Work?

Kombucha, also goes by the name of Kombucha Mushroom Tea, is a drink known to have originated from Japan. However, this isn’t mushroom at all but instead a fermented drink resulting from a combination of yeast, sugar, bacteria and tea. Kombucha claims to be formulated with B vitamins and other nutritional content. Most people who drink Kombucha believe that the product could provide them with health benefits such as an improved digestion and better immune system. Others are convinced that the drink could help prevent cancer while at the same time aid in liver function. Kombucha may be brewed at home although there are commercial products today that are ready to consume. Other ingredients that Kombucha contain include alcohol, gluconic acid, usnic acid, and acetic acid.
