Knifty Knitter Reviews

The perfect thing for beginning knitters. Be careful though, they are addicting. You will be looking for reasons to knit things.

These little things worked centuries ago when they were home-made out of wooden spools with nails driven into them, and they work wonderfully now in plastic versions of all sizes!
Sure, a talented knitter can do a zillion times more things with a pair of real knitting needles – but what about the rest of us? These Knifty Knitters are great for average folks with more interest than skill.
The immovable pegs keep each row of stitches even and consistant, which is the most difficult aspect of traditional knitting. Simple projects, like a hat, can be done very quickly and easily – even by kids!

These definitely work, and are worth the investment if you feel it’s the right product for you. They come with an instruction book that is fairly self-explanatory, and you can You Tube ‘Knifty Knitter’ or ‘loom knitting’ if you want to see how it’s done. I used these for a while, but felt a little restricted because you can’t really change how ‘tight’ the knit is. I learned how to knit with needles, and enjoy that much more. But when I was intimidated by knitting, this was just the right thing.

I make hats for the homeless on these
and just love them. They are very easy to use. You can make Hats and Scarfs very easy. I have not attempted to make anything other then that on mine. I have all the different sizes but did not get the video. Great for gifts for those people that appreciate home made gifts from people.
