This product is a total waste of money and as far as being hands free it is a joke, you are fumbling around with the radio, the on/off switch of the Jupiter Jack, you have to get better reception, so your are totally distracted and worse off then if you just held the phone in your hand!!!

Plain and simple, you get what you pay for. It’s a scam. After I saw Billy Mayes buddy promoting this I called. Getting two for $10 was awesome. Then they keep throwing stuff at you and you end up with more useless crap. Phone cradle for only X amount, plus shipping, plus shipping, plus shipping. The entire contents could have fit into a small USPS priority box and shipped for $5. But no, nickel and dime you to death. Stay away! Doesn’t work! You have to crank your stereo up, then you forget to turn it down before you turn off the JJ then you end up blowing out your speakers. Expensive mistake overall. Loved you Billy but your predecessor is pumping out some garbage.

If you have low expectations then you will fall into the 30% crowd. You do have to turn up the volume and if the car is moving the signal will fade in and out. If you expect what you purchase to do as the manufacturer claims no matter how cheap it is. Well.. welcome to my world.

Tried the jack. I had to turn up the radio to a very high setting to barely be able to hear. When I hung up phone it screwed up my speakers it was so loud. Don’t try turning up volume to hear or you’ll blow your speakers like I did!

I use it with my IPOD SHUFFLE and listen to my music on the radio in my car. I have an older car with just a radio, no cd’s, no tape, just a radio. This plays the music thru the stereo, it works great for me…thanks.

I purchased the Jupiter Jack out of a catalog when they first came out. I attempted to make a call from my car to the house using it. I heard alot of static and could barley hear my wife speking; she told me later she was almost yelling into the phone trying to get me to hear her. I calle JP and they told me I needed an adaptor. I paid $2.00 for the adaptor and it took them 6 mo to get it to me!!! Once I got it; the thing still didn’t work ! I called them back; they advised me with the adaptor it should work..duhh I knew that!!! I let my father in law use it, no luck for him either; my wife tried, uhhh sorry no luck, I have since tried it on 2 other phones with no luck. Take my advise take your $10.00 and buy a freaking pizza; you will enjoy it more than this peace of junk !!!

Just got done trying out the Jupiter Jack. Couldn’t get it to work on my phone, my wife’s phone, or my son’s. Later went out to the garage and played with it some more. Found that it would work with my wife’s Nokia if I held the Jupiter Jack right by the car’s antenna. It worked with my Garminphone (with the included adapter) if it was within about 1 foot of the antenna. I replaced the battery, but it didn’t improve the range. The instructions say to move the Jack closer to the radio for a better signal, so I’m guessing the manufacturer does understand how radio waves work!
