Jupiter Jack Reviews

Bought 3 for family and friends and could not get this thing to work. Radio stations are available however calls continued to go directly to my cell phone. I should have research product prior to purchase. Don’t make the same mistake I did. My overall rating is a 0
but the system will not allow you to leave the field blank

My cel phone is not bluetooth capable and since we have a hands-free law here in California, the Jupiter Jack was a simple and inexpensive way to comply. If the phone rings while I am driving, I simply flip it open and push a pre-programmed button on my radio to talk. It doesn’t necessarily work well in all cars. Although it’s sitting next to the radio, that’s not where the radio antenna is. It’s on the outside of the car or built into the rear window, so that can make a difference.

For me it worked. i got it for $4.99 so it was a good deal for me. though i am worried about the battery life since you do have to turn it off.

After trying countless Bluetooth’s because I either lost them or they sound like kids speaker phone quality I tried Jupiter Jack. It went right into my cell head phone jack, I switched it on, put my phone in the cradle, switched my radio dial to 99.3FM and could not believe the difference in quality! WOW! Just program your radio to 99.3 so when your phone rings or you want to make a call just press the program number if your listening to another station and your good to go. It was clear and I didn’t have to cup my ear like I did with my Bluetooth. If you don’t forget to turn off your Bluetooth and disconnect it from you ear when walking around you look insane in public. Plus it’s rude and you know who you are. I got my Jupiter Jack at Block Buster for $10.

JJack works well for me. I make and receive calls conveniently well though sometimes I need to turn up my radio a little, not so loud to blow up my speaker. Overall it works well.

Read all the reviews and still somehow I wanted to buy this product. I thought people just aren’t reading the directions!
2 Main things were not noted in the positive or negative reviews that needed to be posted. BTW I returned it.
The thing is battery operated and must be turned on and off. Can’t imagine a cell heavy user would have a long battery life. The audio portion came out fine on one of the two stations available. The jack itself didn’t fit perfect in my EnV3 but after a harder push it went. So I saw in it’s limited trail that it does work BUT for me it totally changed my mic and speaker operations so the next ‘regular’ call I made the mic or settings were auto adjusted such that the caller couldn’t even hear me. Those 2 things It’s a NO for me. The audio coming over the car stereo is kinda neat but the simple speakerphone on my cell works just about as good without having to replace batteries or adjust settings.

Bought this JJ in Sarasota, Fl and it seemed to work. Took it home to NJ but couldn’t get my car radio to change to 99.3 or 101.3. Apparently not available in NJ area. Can’t find a co. no to ask if there’s another setting.
