I bought 3 Jupiter Jacks (for my son, his girlfriend and myself). I opened one of the packs to find out that I have to buy (free with $2.99 S&H) another converter that’s not included in the pack for my phone (Sony Ericsson). My son tried it using his phone, sitting right outside the house in his car and he had to hold his phone up close to his mouth for me to hear him. I hear him better using the speaker in the phone. I’m returning all three units. They are a big disappointment. I really should know better and not believe that items sold in TV commercials will work as advertised.

I tried to get this to work on both suggested channels and NEITHER worked. Plus I spent $20 on one jack at a Walgreen’s. Forget using it on an Iphone…

I tried JJ several times — using both 99.3 and 101.3 FM, cell phone transmission did not come through car radio — I had never seen the TV ads — had never heard of JJ until I saw the product in a local Walgreens’ so I purchased two units in local Walgreens.
I was not able to locate any more tech info from their web site. Will return both units to Walgreens’ later today!
Save your money and more importantly, your time!
Next time I will wait until a more reputable company releases a product that works — concept of JJ is a great one but unfortunately only as a concept.
I did appreciate the packaging — it was easy to open especially for senior citizens.

I have to hold the phone to my mouth for the other party to hear me. I can hear the other party through the radio, but they cannot hear me unless I hold the phone very close to my mouth. If I have to hold the phone, I might as well use speaker phone and save the money.

I have a samsung highlight works great but my wifes phone the tap dosent work at all with that said was worth 10 bucks

First – it works on an FM signal which means “line of sight”. We have two radio stations that are on the same two choices of channels on the unit I purchased. When positioned on the dash of my pickup the unit totally over rides either one of the radio stations. At highway speed and at idle you cannot hear the diesel engine in the background when making a call. The volume through the stereo is amazing, just a touch higher than normal listening level. If you need a hands free device, quit thinking about it and buy one – Would not be without one again!!!
