They never mentioned to check for unused channels. Just tried than and in the Sacramento area, those two selections are not available.

This product was a piece of crap. When i plugged it up to my phone and turned the jupiter jack on the static on the radio went away, but other than that nothing happened. I had three different people try the jupiter with 3 different phones and none of them worked. I don’t think they should continue selling this product.

THE JUPITER JACK IS A PIECE OF S***!!!!!! I SPENT 35 MINS IN MY CAR TRYING GOD KNOWS HOW MANY DIFFERENT THINGS TO GET THAT THING TO WORK WITH MY PHONE. I ALSO TRIED MY HUBBY’S PHONE AND MY DAD’S PHONE……NONE OF THEM WORKED!!!! WE TRIED BOTH STATIONS ON THE WEBSITE/PACKAGE/MANUAL, TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE THINKING MAYBE WE JUST GOT A BADONE OR SOMETHING, AND SAT IN A PARKING LOT WHILE I TRIED IT AGAIN. NOTHING! THIS P.O.S SCAM DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CALLED THE COMPANY, AND OF COURSE NO SUPERVISOR WAS THERE TO TALK TO, AND NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. I AM NOW THINKING ABOUT GOING TO BBB OR SUEING THE COMPANY FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, SEEING AS HOW THEY STATE ON THEIR SITE/INFOMERCIAL/PACKAGING THAT IT WILL WORK ANYWHERE, WITH ANY PHONE THAT HAS A HEADPHONE JACK. IT DOESN’T!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$$

What it comes down to is how cramped the radio is in your area. You have the option of FM 101.3 or 99.3. Go to http://www.radio-locator.com/ and enter your zip code. This will list all the broadcast stations in your area. Click on “Find unused frequencies” and it will show your FM dial color coded for how strong the nearby signals are in your area. If either 99.3 or 101.3 are listed as great you’re golden. If they’re good, you’re probably okay but might have to try different locations for your phone. Anything else… save your $16.99.

Setup for my LG enV Touch worked great in car used lower channel 99.3, even tried in the house on a Sony Home theater system. worked great on it too
