Jupiter Jack Reviews

No - Horrible Experience

I bought the Jupiter Jack online, Mistake number one. Than it wouldnt work with my phone which is a TMobile Mytouch. I called Telebrands in New Jersey to ask for help to make it work. Sombody that hardly speaks english answered and asked me security reason to give her my address, which is unbelievable, what kind of security reason would you have telling me how to work the product when she already had my name. Than she put me on hold for more than 15 minutes and returned with her broken english to tell me she is sorry because she is checking something, than she went over everything I told her again and put me hold again, I told her I didnt understand her and she said there was NOT ONE person available to help me, only her, and her english that I did not understand.

No - Too much static
1 star1 star1 star1 star1 star

Very disappointing. Way too much static to be a useful product. The instructions state if there is static to move the jupiter jack to different locations in the car. You can’t be waving the thing around when you are driving! The static comes and goes in the same location. Don’t waste your money!

A contractor friend just demonstrated this for me. It works so well that he bought them for each of his crew – 20 total – and insists that they use them.
It also works as a “conference phone” by tuning in a boom box in the conference room.

No - Good idea, but too much interference
1 star1 star1 star1 star1 star

The jupiter jack works very well in certain areas. There are too many radio stations in my area that interfere with the transmissions. In certain areas it works excellently, but it is too “hit & miss” to be practical. I am very disappointed in this product. It is not as it was advertised to be! The frustrating thing is that you pay for separate shipping and handling, but they come in the same box. Now when I return it, I’ll be out that money. Don’t try it, just rely on the feedback that has been given as an overwhelming NOOOOOOOO!!!!

No - Total JUNK
1 star1 star1 star1 star1 star

What a joke! If I could rate this a ZERO, I would.

First off, the body of the adapter for my phone is too wide to really seat properly when connected, so the whole apparatus (JJ and adapter) dangle slightly askew. Second, the recommended radio frequency doesn’t work AT ALL — just static, NO phone reception — so we switched to the alternate fequency. It was better, but you have to crank up the volume to hear the caller AT ALL, and when you do, you ALSO get way more static making it essentially impossible to have a conversation. There was also an annoying ECHO, sort of like feedback from a microphone. When we bought the unit, we were told the only “problem” with the JJ was that it “sometimes” didn’t work well with “older” car radios. Older than what? Last week? Our car is a 2008 with a very nice radio! The JJ got returned 2 days later for a refund. The clerk said they get TONS of them back for just the reasons I’d described.

BOTTOM LINE: This product is a complete waste of your time AND money. DON’T BOTHER.

I purchased Jupiter Jack as a gift for my girlfriend. The stations you have to tune into are very staticky and you hear that during the calls. The volume is very low and the higher you turn up the volume the more static you get. It was only ten dollars so I guess you get what you pay for.

I brought 2 of these and couldn’t get them to work and no phone number to call to troubleshoot. Waste of money and time! What a SCAM!
