Does Jupiter Jack Really Work?
Jupiter Jack converts any car radio into a convenient wireless speaker system. Jupiter Jack is the latest, innovative mobile phone accessory that lets you enjoy a safe, hands-free communication with your family and friends. It is intended to work with any type of mobile phone in any car. As seen on the TV show Pitchmen with Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan, Jupiter Jack is very easy to set-up – just plug it in your cellular phone’s headphone port, tune in your radio to the specified FM frequency and you’re good to go! Jupiter Jack works by sending out quality audio through the car’s speakers that allows you to have wireless conversations in your car keeping your eyes on the road, 100% of the time.

Jupiter Jack Reviews

I have an iphone 32gig and it works great, and the best part is that i didn’t have to order it online! I picked mine up at Ross’s for 8 bucks. Sure beats all the hidden charges and shipping and handling and whatever else they can throw in there.

If you live in central PA then it won’t work. Both 99.3 and 101.3 are active, strong stations. I tried it with my portable CD player and it turns off the CD player when JJ is turned on.

I was very surprised at just HOW well this works. I have a Blackberry Storm and have never really had luck with Bluetooth headsets while driving.
With the Jupiter Jack, I have preset the two necessary FM frequencies on my car stereo and can quickly switch from my radio/CD to phone call. I had experience with the Microsoft Sync system in a rental car and was amazed at how the Jupiter Jack gave very similar performance.
I have both Pandora and I Heart Radio on my Blackberry and frequently use the Jupiter Jack to listen to both of them over my car stereo. When I get a call, both Pandora and I Heart Radio mute while I’m talking on the phone and resume when I hang up. While driving my son back to college, we listened to his Xune the whole trip over the car stereo.
My only concern was the battery in the Jupiter Jack draining quickly with extended use –listening to Pandora or an mp3 player on long trips. I haven’t noticed any battery drain on the Jupiter Jack during 6 continuous hours of use.
I bought mine at a Walgreen’s for $9 and it sure beats paying the extra $800 + it would have cost to get the Microsoft Sync system in my car.
The ONLY problem I’ve noticed is where to put my phone while driving. When I get a call I have to pick up my phone just to press the answer button. I then can put my phone back on the dashboard or in the cup holder. The microphone while my phone is sitting on the dash works just fine and callers can’t even tell that the phone is over one meter away from me.

All get is static. Tried both frequencies. In some areas the M radio over rides any possile onversation. A total waste of money. I tried to return the Jack to Staples with receipt in hand. Staples would not acept the return.

Phone worked with my 3-yr old Motorola but not w/ my Droid. Too bad; I could have had Pandora on my car stereo!
