Bought it last 4-24-10 night hoping it would be at least decent. Tried it today in both of my vehicles and both station settings and none worked. No volume, bad static and didn’t even block out the radio reception. I didn’t expect much, but was still let down.

It was just a waste of money! I bought 2 and got 2 free (so I could give them away to friends) but I was VERY disappointed when I tried it! I am returning them but they told me to keep the two free ones as a gift! I don’t even want those! I would be embarrased to give away something that doesn’t work to anyone! I also have to pay for shipping them back to them so there goes 27.00 down the drain!!! Oh well I guess I should have done some research before I bought them! Don’t waste your money people, unless you want to throw away your money!

I saw this thing a lot of times on tv,I pick mine up at a truckstop,you I’m a truck driver and its the coolest thing I have ever seen,I don’t even use that old headset that I got for 200.00.for 10.00 you can’t bet that anywhere,man it realy does work,if you have a good radio,boys and girls look out it will sound GREAT!!!oh by the way,I even use it when I’m outside of my car when I wash it,people I can STILL HEAR It CLEAR AS DAY!!! what a great buy.just try it!

I saw these displayed at a local store and made an impulse buy, dropping ten bucks. I plugged it into my I-Phone and it did not work…the gizmo does come with a battery and it does ‘block’ the radio frequency (so it ought to function and be audible on 99.3FM)…
I would not suggest purchasing this.

i have never used anything else that is so rubbish! the radio has to be turned up to full volume, theres static and the caller has a very loud echo. DO NOT BUY A JUPITER JACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Using Samsung cell phone, in our local area, at the two FM frequencies the
JupiterJack is set for, there are loud
radio stations.
At NEITHER FM band setting when my cell phone was called and the Jack plugged in and turned ON, did I hear any caller’s voice. When Jack removed from phone,
the caller was heard.
If there were a way to “tune” the Jack
to an FM frequency that was open… it
might have worked. But we can’t know;
product returned.

The Jupiter Jack worked but I had to max the volume on my radio and then it was a strain to hear the conversation. I called their Customer Service and did not get any hassles about returning and received my RMA.
