Does Hoodia Really Work?
Hoodia is an important element in many weight loss products due to its appetite suppressing ability. The Hoodia is a cactus plant having 13 different species, but weight loss products generally use the ‘Hoodia gordonii’ specie. The various products that offer the active ingredient found in Hoodia gordonii plants generally come in pills or liquid form. Companies that offer the liquid form claim to be more effective since the body is better able to absorb liquid than solid substances. Medical experts say that Hoodia is not addictive and has no known side effects.
Hoodia Reviews
As far as Hoodia pills go, I agree, don’t bother. The Hoodia lollypops DID work when used as directed (Slowly suck on the pop with a full glass of water beginning 30 minutes before mealtime). It was expensive, but I lost 30 pounds that way. The main drawback was that after the 30 pounds, I plateaued.

I’m very overweight, and have trouble regulating my appetite, so when this product became available at a local retailer, I figured I’d give it a shot.
Well, it does NOTHING to suppress appetite, contrary to the claims. I bought the solid form. Maybe the liquid is effective, but the pills aren’t.
This is yet another way to prey on people who are desperate for help losing weight. Save your money, because it’s the ONLY thing you’ll lose if you buy this stuff.
