Does Grandpa's Handyman Secrets Really Work?

This is a do-it-yourself book of 5001 handyman secrets that are purportedly useful around the house.  Dr. Miles Bader, author, claims to show you 5001 ways you can do your own house repairs more easily.  If you have grown pampered and used to maids, this book may be of help to you.  However, reviews of the book generally were not favorable, with most buyers saying that most of the information in the book was simply common sense, and not really secrets.  In other words, this book is not for someone who already knows how to run a house.  Other reviews noted that the editing was shoddy and sentences were incomplete, all of which contributed to the bad showing of this book’s supposed ‘hints’.  It has had low ratings and some feel it is expensive and not worth keeping.
