Does Grabit Really Work?
The GRABIT is a tool that is used to remove damaged screw heads that are difficult to extract, as well as free spinning screws. They claim that no other tool like this can do both functions in one. Any screw ranging from No. 6 to No. 14 can be extracted with the use of the GRABIT. This makes it a handy work tool, they say, for many home applications such as for the family car, children’s toys, appliances and furniture. The GRABIT is not difficult to use. It can simply be inserted into a drill first with the burnished end out, and used to smoothen the damaged screw head. From there, the GRABIT is again removed and placed into the drill inversely. With the GRABIT’s remover end, it is again placed upon the smooth screw head until it threads inside and the screw can be removed.
