Does Go Duster Really Work?
The Go Duster is a battery powered duster with a switch that makes it spin automatically, that is supposed to make this daily task easier and faster to accomplish. It is portrayed as a comfortable alternative to rags or a cloth because after dusting, one only needs to rinse the duster head under a faucet and leave it to dry, and it can be used again. The Go Duster can dust furniture, cabinets, blinds, one’s computer, with interchangeable tops for different applications, such as a mini top for delicate furniture items. There is also a multi surface spray which can be applied to the Go Duster top before application for improved cleaning. This product uses four AA batteries and can be handy even for old women and younger children.

My mother-in-law purchased this product at Target so we could try it out. It works well, but once you run out of the cleaning spray (or try to simply dry-dust), it becomes a bit of a hassle. The rotating brush simply throws dust into the air and becomes a pain for anyone with even minor allergies. I found myself sneezing more after we’d used the Go Duster, compared to before using it. It’s better for surfaces with light dust, though.
