So little effort to prep my veggie plots. I use it to loosen the top 4" of soil which makes weeding easy then go over it again before planting. I've really beat it up. The handle is a little loose but it still works. Won't replace a pick for super heavy soil or a tiller for large areas, but is a quality tool. Had this for a long time. I have made flower beds in what was a very poor soil lawn and this is the only tool I needed to turn the ground.
