Does Garden Claw Really Work?
The Garden Claw is a gardening tool that helps to maintain the quality of the soil bed by keeping it cultivated, loosened, and aerated. It also assists in weeding, hence, the acronym CLAW. The name also refers to the shape of the tool. About the length of a broomstick, one end has four prongs shaped like a claw. The other end has handles and with a simple turning motion, the claw turns and loosens the soil. At the start of gardening season, the Garden Claw is particularly useful in that the soil tends to be more difficult to manage. The makers of this product say that soil is more easily loosened, particularly on difficult soils that may be of clay, hardpan or rocks. Because of the tool’s height there is no bending, thus offering relief from potential back aches.
Garden Claw Reviews

I’ve had this tool for 10 years and it still works like new. So little effort to prep my veggie plots. I use it to loosen the top 4″ of soil which makes weeding easy then go over it again before planting. In my greenhouse it is the only tool I use to get ready for spring.

Had this for a long time. I’ve really beat it up. The handle is a little loose but it still works. Won’t replace a pick for super heavy soil or a tiller for large areas, but is a quality tool.

I love my garden claw – it does everything promised, including no back pain from having to bend over. I have made flower beds in what was a very poor soil lawn and this is the only tool I needed to turn the ground.
