Does Echinacea Really Work?

Echinacea is a type of herb that can ward of infections like the usual colds and other respiratory infections. You can take this herbal product at the first sign of a common cold so that the symptoms can be stopped. It does treat colds but cannot stop it from happening. This product can also be used for urinary tract infections, genital herpes, and vaginal yeast infections, gum disease, tonsillitis, streptococcus infections, syphilis, typhoid, malaria and diphtheria. Echinacea was used by the Indian tribes of North America for medicinal concerns and then the settlers also started using it too. You can also use it for the treatment of boils, skin wounds, ulcers. Burns, bee stings and hemorrhoids. This herbal product comes in different forms like tablets, juice and tea.

Yes - Only Echinacea Angustifolia works

Don’t bother with Echinacea Purpurea – it does nothing. Only Echinacea Angustifolia works – I take 3, 3 times a day with elderberry and garlic at the first sign of a cold – it’s gone within 3 days and any symptoms that DO appear are very, very mild.
