Dish Network also has a wide selection of TV viewing packages to suit the tastes of all viewers, they claim. To date, their best offer includes $15 off per month, a free upgrade to HD DVR, three months of free HBO and Showtime, and three HD receivers for free. Another new package is America’s Everything Pak With Locals which includes 31 commercial-free premium movie channels from Showtime, Starz Movie Pack, HBO and Cinemax; NBA TV, and America’s Top 250 package, totaling more than 280 channels in all. Also included is one’s Regional Sports Network based on your ZIP code. This is a package for any true TV lover, they say. Other packages are America’s Top 120 (including CNN, ESPN, Disney Channel and Discovery Channel), America’s Top 200 (including news, sports, movie, children’s and family programming and over 30 commercial-free, CD-quality music channels and a dozen Public Interest Channels), and America’s top 250 Package, among others.
Dish Network Reviews
I had this piece of junk installed and lived with it for almost the end of the 2 year contract. I had so many problems with it that I was on the phone at least once a month talking to their tech support. When it snowed and the snow was wet, it would cling to the dish and I had to go outside and wipe the snow off the dish to get a signal. I finally had enough and went back to cable and ate the fee they charged me to cancel the contract early. Unless you like to putz with technology, stay away from the DISH Network. It is just not reliable.

Love Dish! Love the fact I can record and watch what I want in the bedroom while hubby watches his shows in the living room!

Was with DirecTV prior and got tired of hours on phone and bad English. 6yrs with Dish and my bill jumped this year from $34.99 to $51.99 for top 250. I was ready to quit when they found a package I was happy with for less $. And English I can understand. Don’t like that they won’t cancel locals when out of state which saved me $5.mo when on the road for months. Checked direct more $$ for less channels.

Sattelite works great given clear line of site to the sattelite, HOWEVER, during a heavy rain you can generally count on loss of signal, have had Direct TV for 10 yrs{same technology}, heavy rain or snow and you go back to regular broadcast TV. if I had to do over would get cable. Sorry sat boys
