Does DirecTV Really Work?
DirecTV is a satellite TV service that makes hundreds of channels available to you, including more than one hundred channels in high definition (HD). I will have been with them for 9 years this year. I am more than happy with them. I have never had a bad experience with their customer service when I call them. They are always all over my problem when I call them. I pay more but I get MLB extra Innings and the NFL Ticket, and encore, and the Fox Sports package. I would recommend them hands down. As far as bad weather goes I just put up with it.

The product is great. Rain fade is a simple fact of satellite TV.
You must be diligent and do your own research. Their customer service can be VERY deceiving. They will withhold information you need to be aware of. Almost anything you do will cause your 2 year contract to restart.
Be careful. They are extremely deceptive.

I have had Directv for over six years, the picture and the HDTV are the available I think their rates are high but I have 3 DVR and 1 standard box all HD.

We had Directv for many years and was very happy with it. I let them talk me into a special promotion, when it came time to get rid of it I had extra charges and a BIG headache. No one wanted to work out the problem with me not until I decided to drop them and go with a local company. Now they badger me to death.
Stay away from them. They promise everything but in the end it isn’t worth it.

I had DirecTV for several months to a year and hated it. I would not have it again! My biggest complaint was their customer service. It stunk! Had to hold forever just to get a real person. Took forever the numerous times I called. Another reason was when it rained, really windy, snowing hard, etc. the satellite would go out and “voila” it would be right in the middle of your favorite show.
