Does the Cuisinart Griddler Really Work?

The Cuisinart Griddler has a heavy and sturdy construction, with multiple functions. It can be used to make panini, but also has an additional four cooking options. It can be used for grilling meat, sausages, hamburgers and hotdogs; melt cheese, or toast burger buns. By changing the cooking plates and adjusting it with a hinge you can either use it as a contact grill or open grill; and use it to griddle, or as a bread press. The griddle and cooking plates are dishwasher safe. Aside from the grill, plates, griddle and hinge for a floating cover. The Cuisinart Griddler has two temperature controls with temperature lights, and it heats up quickly. It also has two drip cups, a cleaning and scraping tool, an instruction and recipe book, and a warranty.

I bought the grill because it works as a panini grill and my daughters love paninis. They are teenagers and have a great time making their own grilled sandwiches.

Yes - Works Fine

I bought one about 6 years ago. It has interchangeable plates that I hate to clean, and thus we don’t use this as much as I’d like to, but it does work and does everything it’s supposed to. Would be great for single people, or someone cooking for 2.

Yes - It works fine

Have had “The Griddler” for about 3 years and it works just fine. However, we have a regular griddle as well, so there was really no need to get this I find it more difficult to clean (unclipping and re-attaching heating plates after washing) as opposed to simply lifting off my regular Cuisinart griddle. Have used the panini press, but one can do that easily and cheaper by placing a foil-covered brick on your sandwich. And the grease cups are not connected to the griddle but are separate and easily bumped away from the “fat drain”
