Does Crunchless Abs Really Work?
Just look at the abdomen of Linda Larue, R.N. MEd exercise physiologist and you are inclined to tell yourself, “I want those” they would have you believe. Even more important, they say her abs can be yours—and you won’t have to do any crunches for them, either. Instead, order a set of Crunchless Abs DVDs and learn how to properly train the 12 muscles that comprise your abs, they suggest. Properly trained, these muscles will wrap tight like a girdle and keep your tummy flat and muscle wrapped. Many of us are wont to avoid tummy crunches because they are painful and tiresome. According to Larue, they are less effective anyway, as they work only on two abdominal muscles. Yes, Larue would have you believe that where abs are concerned, less IS more. Less crunches that is, and more focused work to target the upper abs, the harder to reach lower abs, and the obliques. So don’t crunch-go crunchless.
