Convert- a-Classic Reviews
Tried using this product countless times. Followed the horrendous instructions and it never worked. It lights up but the screen stays black. The instructions are useless, unless you run out of toilet paper.

This device does not even light up. It is dead. Absolutely no tech support. I do not recommend purchase.

I agree with some of the posts that it, has limited features but I was able to get mine to work fine. The red light stays on all the time on the clicker, you get a blue light when you push record. Only issue I’ve found so far is some static or interference from the VCR or my computer so if my VCR is off it crackles on my computer screen. The captured video is a bit wavy but could just be from bad video tapes or my VCR heads are getting dirty. But overall for a cheap way to copy VCR’s I’m happy with it.

We have attempted several times to follow instructions as per manual but no result. Screen stays black. The troubleshooter says if screen is black wires are not connected correctly. Well, the wires are connected as instructed but still no picture on screen. Does not work!

I bought this Grabber Pro from Heartland America. Very limited instructions, but I got the software into my computer and connected it properly. I cannot get the view screen to come on. The troubleshooter in the manual says I have it wired incorrectly. Have tried many times to do it myself and no success. Possible problem: the red (I assume “record”) light on the clicker stays on all the time. The clicker doesn’t work. There is no number to call, no website listed and I’m reduced to trying to search the web for information. I’m sending this back for a refund.
