I got these for 2 small dogs when we went on vacation. They are easy to get on and off and seem comfortable to the dogs. One of my dogs has bad arthritis and has trouble standing up and this harness is a great “handle” to get hold of and help him to his feet. Since it’s soft mesh it doesn’t press on any of his joints but is strong enough and secure enough to keep the chihuahua from getting loose.

I definitely recommend this for smaller dogs. I have two dogs, both around 20 lbs. They walk much better and do not pull as much when wearing the harness. The harness also comes with a straight leash which I find to work better than retractable leashes.
