Does Clearasil Really Work?

Clearasil is a skin product that promises to provide users with clearer and better looking skin in just three days. The manufacturers claim that they have a clinically proven, acne-fighting formula that penetrates into the skin to fight pimples and acne as fast as possible. Clearasil also helps in controlling oil on your face to provide you with a shine free finish. It contains 2% Salicylic Acid Acne Medication, an active ingredient that helps reduce the redness and size of pimples. Clearasil is not recommended for individuals that have very sensitive skin or for individuals that are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide.

I’ve had acne for four years, I’ve tried almost every product there is to try and I was hoping that Clearasil would work for me. I’ve been using it for 2 months now and I can’t see the difference. My acne is stil there.

I was really hoping to get rid of my pimples. I saw a bottle called Clearasil, in a VERY little bottle it said 4 hours the next day one came off, but the next night none came off. Here I am now with the same pimples. I really do want the pimples gone.

I was shopping for a good cheap cleanser and I saw Clearasil. I bought it then the same night before bed I used it and it was amazing. Almost all my acne was gone… Then I feel asleep and forgot to wash my face. It turns out when I stop using it or forget to wash my face the acne comes back. I wish it got rid of pimples not cover them somehow!

It does not clear in 3 days, more like 5-7 days.
So if you want to get rid of pipmles fast use Proactiv, a bit expensive but they usally have good offers online. Best of all they can send you it every month!!!!!

I was developing quite a few spots, then my mum suggested this, and it does work. The spots are going, and it is comfortable. Would definitely recommend that as it is very cheap and effective.

I’ve used Clearasil products for over 12 years and started using them when I was a teenager (Im now nearly 26!)

I had terrible spots which would have developed into acne if I hadnt have done something about it soon! My face was also becoming scarred.

I decided to try Clearasil and its still a product I use today 12 years on! I would go as far to say that it prevented alot of scars on my face!!

There are a wide range of different products to use and with 2% salicylic Acid ingredient it is really good at fighting spots.

The price is also good (fairly cheap £4 ish upwards), especially compared to the more expensive brands and I’m sure it has similiar ingredients! I’ve tried more expensive brands but always preferred clearasil.

I would definately give it a go if you have spots, are a teenager or adult. If you have serious acne go to a doctor but you could always try this product first.

The only thing I will say is that if you have dry/very skin to be more careful as the washes and creams can dry out your skin even more- but this is what it should do as its drying out the spot. If you have dry skin, just put the cream or lotion directly onto the spot and not around the face.

Anyway highly recommended and I currently have the products “Clearasil ulra Deep pore treatment wash” and “Clearasil overnight lotion”. They work excellently for me!
