The Morgan Silver Dollar is claimed to have first been minted in 1878 in the New Orleans Mint. They claim that this was the coin that was a favorite of pioneer gamblers and bank robbers. According to them, ownership of the Morgan Silver Dollar poses the chance to be one of the few to own a silver dollar that they say won the west. They claim that some 270 million of these were melted in 1921 for their silver and only very few have survived. This, they claim, makes it particularly sought after. According to them, they have an authentic Morgan Silver Dollar struck in 90% pure silver mined from the Comstock Lode which they describe as an important discovery. They say that the rarest of these coins have the “O” mintmark which would prove it was from the New Orleans Mint which ceased to operate in 1909, they say. This coin, they say, was struck between 1883 and 1885 and they claim it was graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation with a rank they call Brilliant Uncirculated.
