Credit and debit cards are a fast and convenient way to make payments, but they are vulnerable to RFID scanning which can be away for malicious individuals to steal your confidential credit card information. If you want to prevent RFID theft from affecting you and your credit cards then Card Lock is one product that you might want to consider getting. The manufacturer claims that the Card Lock will prevent the theft of your credit card information through RFID scanning. Upon initial inspection, the Card Lock may look like any other leather card case but the CardLock is actually made out of high tech frequency-blocking polymers that blocks RFID scanners. With the Card Lock, the manufacturer promises that not only will your precious credit and debit cards will be protected physically; your important credit card information is protected from theft as well.

They are selling on fear. You cannot get information off of a mag stripe or the new EMV chips on cards without physical contact. The older RFID chips could theoretically be vulnerable, however it is extremely unlikely anyone could crack the encryption algorithm. Those cards are not used much anymore.
