C. Crane CC SW Pocket Radio Reviews
This is a great radio. Excellent tuning on AM, FM and shortwave, although most of my listening is AM and FM. It also functions as a clock radio, and does that well. I’m still using the same (lithium AA) batteries as when I originally bought it, so it is at least reasonably efficient in this regard. The volume control could be more granular at the “quiet” end – It jumps from “almost silent” to “not so quiet” with nothing in between. That’s my only quibble with the thing. It is complicated to use advanced features, mainly because there are so many. But that’s my problem, not that of this great little radio. Highly recommend!
