Ashley has mentioned in the past that the reasoning for the cotton on one side is to prevent the pillow case from slipping off the bed at night. If you use satin or silk pillow cases, you will know this is the case most of the time, and I find the cotton on one side completely eliminates this problem.. This is my second set. I really like them.

First of all the standard queen did not even fit the pillow. I was too short. [...] Also the silk was not as nice as the satin one I have. It’s only silk on one side so you can’t even turn it over to use both sides.

This is one of those crappy infomercial products that leave out critical details. As one other reviewer mentioned, the entire pillow case is not silk…only one side and the other side is made of cheap muslin. No, it did not make me look or feel any better than any other silk or satin pillow case that I’ve had in the past.

the cases have only one side of silk the other side is cotton, they are not worth the money and donot do anymore then a $5.00 satin case which does the exact same if not better. As for the socks they are a joke 2 pieces of scrapes hand sew the first time I put them on they came apart. they should be totaly lined and then you would have what you paid for. Do not waste your time just go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get you a satin case for $5 and you will get the same sleep, and hair on bad hair days

I have not slept this well in years. I don’t wake up in the middle of the night. The silk keeps me cool or something because I used to have little night sweats.
I feel better and have more energy. It’s got to be because I am sleeping more soundly. I love it! I look more awake and less haggard, I think.
