Does 5 Second Fix Really Work?

Click for More Info About 5 Second FixHave you broken a number of plastic pieces or figurines and other similar objects in your home and you are looking for a fast and effective way to repair these? 5 Second Fix is a product that you might want to try using. The manufacturer claims that this product will allow for reliable repairs to broken objects without too much hassle. To use, all you need to do is to apply some of the 5SecondFix solution onto the broken area and then bond the broken pieces together. Once that is done, simply flip to the other end of the 5 Second Fix precision pen and switch the UV light on and then shine it over the broken area. This activates the Liquid Plastic Welding compound which the manufacturer promises will provide a strong bond between the broken pieces, ensuring that you will be able to enjoy strong and reliable repairs.

Damaged a car key and replacement cost was several hundred dollars, 5 second fix repaired the key, admittedly, it took a little longer than 5 seconds, but under a minute. happy so far. early days though.

This is the worst get over product I have every purchase. This stuff doesn’t work on nothing. Very disappointed. The best thing about this product, it has a good marketing pitch!

First to start things off. I placed my order and two days later checked my account too see if the order was processed. They TRIPLE charged me for my order. Sent them an email and got my loot back. But when it came and I tried to use it on a simple plastic/rubber piece..FAIL. DIDN’T HOLD at all. Tried a second time, same results. Commercial made it look like a good thing. Neat idea. But no go and a fail.

No - Scam

After waiting weeks for this product to arrive, I attempted to repair a pair of broken wire frame glasses. The package had only minimal instructions, but I tried what they show in their ads. However, IT DID NOT WORK!!! It does not bond at all. Superglue would be a better option and much less expensive. Don’t waste your money on this.

No - Buyer beware--for sure ...

I bought this item and got the “two-fer” offer; I watched the video and was pleased to see how it “seemed” to work. Yesterday I tried to use the product twice to repair a figurine and also my watch band: it failed both times. Live and learn–and let the buyer beware.

Had to cancel my order, they keep delaying shipping and have not seen a single person online who has received it yet. Found Bondic – it’s the apparent original – ordered from them. So 5 second fix can suck my fat one!

Please ignore the two required ratings, which I was required to answer in order to submit this. BEFORE ORDERING I called to ask about toxicity. They said it was safe to use on dishes. I also asked about stability under heat. They said heat would weaken the bond. So if you glue a broken cup handle back on your cup, fill it with boiling coffee, then pick it up by the handle, you could end up with a lap full of boiling coffee and severe burns. (Please allow people to raise questions like mine without buying and using the product. I wanted to fix 2 fine china cups, but decided to call first)
